Chemical Abortion Education
Pro-Life Waco, the parent organization of PLPS, has been actively involved in pharmacy outreach for the past year and a half. This initiative has evolved into two key components. The first addresses CVS and Walgreens for their deplorable decision to become suppliers of chemical abortion through pharmacy prescriptions. The second focuses on educating the community about the realities of chemical abortion, which has soared to over 60% of abortions in America.
As you consider participating in pharmacy outreach in your hometown, remember that you have these two significant opportunities. The vast majority of our neighbors know little or nothing about what chemical abortion involves.
Pro-Life Waco’s pharmacy outreach began on March 30, 2023, with a CVS located at the Valley Mills Drive and New Road intersection. We used flyers from another organization to help inform the public. We quickly discovered that the heavy traffic and stop light worked on New Road to our great advantage. Our flyer distribution team handed out 75 to 100 flyers during each outreach event. They initiated brief conversations when possible.
Recognizing the need for tailored education on chemical abortion, we developed our own flyer for the campaign. This six-panel, one-page flyer includes:

Pro-Life Waco continued pharmacy outreach that includes a CVS near Baylor University, Walgreens in a busy shopping area, and a location with CVS and Walgreens across the street from each other. Throughout November, we will be on the sidewalks of the Waco Target store, which houses a CVS pharmacy. Our mission at these venues is to educate the public about chemical abortion and highlight the intolerable business decisions of CVS and Walgreens.
